The Forbidden Fruit

After a long hard process RHONDA WAS BAPTIZED! 

She has been waiting to do this since 2004 and wasn't going to let anything stop her. So that was good. Now we are working on getting her to the temple.

So this week we accidentally partook of the forbidden fruit. We went to this guy's house from the middle east and he gave us this fruit and right when we ate it our mouth went numb and my tongue swelled up... Sister Rasmuson and I looked at each other in a panic cause if it was happening to both of us so obviously it wasn't an allergic reaction. So if you could all Google and persimmon and let me know why that happened that'd be great.

Also, we almost drank coffee! Thank you Raul and Gloria. They are this cute couple from Guatemala that speak very little English and are hard of hearing... so communication is very difficult. And they gave us coffee, we couldn't say no due to manners and they couldn't hear us. But we were able to sneak it out, so that was good.
