Austin got baptized!

Image
Hey y'all it was a good week. We got the news of transfers and I will be staying here in Hesperia in the Maple Ward and my new companion will be fresh outta the MTC... so that's exciting. I went on exchanges with the Hermana Petruka and we did service at a zoo, so thay was fun :). Also Austin got baptized! And he has been asking a lot about missions. His family didn't like the idea of him being baptized, so the mission idea will be brought up later :). I hope you all have a great week! Today we got this photo in a text from someone that had the sister missionaries over for teriyaki chicken, Gyoza, and homemade mason jar ice cream!

No subject yet

So if any of y'all go to the sketchy part of Victorville stop by a place called appollos burgers. Its super good! I got a burger call the no name yet and it inspired the subject. But the burgers were great! And huge! President McKinnon and I had a good interview, I am very much looking forward to this next transfer. So crazy story! We were at del taco cause a nonmember took us out to eat. While we were all eating burritos she just got up and ran out! And we were like what? So we look behind us and out the window and some guy literally got into her car and started driving away! Apparently her keys fell out of her bag and so yeah... nothing too bad happened and the cops came and turns out there was a warrant out for his arrest, so we caught the bad guy. So yeah... Sister Eastman Austin is amazing and getting baptized this Saturday, please pray for him. His family is very against the decision he has made. But guess what! He is devoted to God and he received...

Oh Cali

California needs the priesthood and missionaries here. So thank goodness for the saints in California. We had some meetings this week so it was a busy one. But on the way home from the valley we drive through a cute mountain town called Crestline. We partied hard. Life is good though. This ward is great and fun and so great to work with.  It's a good life. Choose the right yall! -Sister Johnson
