Sup! This week was zone conference, I LOVE zone conference. There were a few different themes but one of them was to reach out, our purpose is to serve the Lord, and as many of you know "...when ye are in the service of your fellow man, ye are only in the service of your God". There are so many opportunities to reach out, whether it is talking to someone or physically helping them. Both are great! Zone Sisters This week we did a lot of talking to people, its still way out of my comfort zone but its starting to grow on me. Either way I have to do it! Because that is how you find people who are prepared to hear the message of the restored gospel! It does kind of surprise me how many people have never seen missionaries before though, but it is a great conversation starter.  From the Pacific Crest Trail Today we hiked the Pacific Crest Trail! (its casual) Haha it was so pretty! Obviously we didn't hike all of it, just a little spot and you could see the...

The Good Life!

Hey Fam!  Life is good, I hope yours is good as well. Just to answer a few questions: yes I use facebook, and yes you can reply to my stories and comment on posts, but I can't always reply. Out Tracting Anyway, this week has been pretty good, we had a lot of appointments and all the people we are teaching are progressing and doing great! We have also been doing a lot of tracting, which isn't my favorite thing, but I'm learning to love it, because you meet so many people when you do it! And they all have great stories and come from all over the world! The zone One of the ladies we are teaching loves what we teach, and wants to know more, and believes it can help her family, but she has been going through some things that prevent her from really progressing. And on Thursday when we met with her she asked for a blessing! That night we arranged for someone to give her a priesthood blessing and the spirit was so strong! I know that God has a plan for her, a...

And this ward is so welcoming and nice! It's the best! We also talked to lots of people, which is easier now that summer is coming to an end people are home. The district   This week was transfers too so we said goodbye to our district and will say hello to the new one. I'm am excited! And luckily I am still in the mountains, and hoping to stay hear till winter, but if not then that's fine too ;).  Exciting thing: we ran into a bunch of bikers! They were just passing through but they were excited to see us "fellow christians" it was so funny! They were all from Great Britain and traveling around the West coast! Haha After we all chatted they asked to take a selfie with us. So now we are hoping it goes viral ;) haha because the church is true! And people should share it. Hah...

The highest of the high desert!

Image
Hey fam! So this week we had an earthquake!!! That was super exciting, just a small one, but it changed our lives! So now we are preparing for the San Andreas fault to shake, by getting more food storage and stuff like that, so that's good :). We found a sketchy road to the top of the high dessert :) This week was also yard sale weekend, there were about 40-50 yard sales going on. And everyone was telling us that Wrightwood is known for their yard sales on Labor day and Memorial day weekends. So we were able to talk to so many people from all over!  Beatrice from France, the coolest lady ever! She served with my Great Aunt and Uncle! There are tender mercies all over so make sure to look for them! Cause some are hard to notice. This week we stayed busy! Because the church is true and we are here to share it!  Welp hope y'all have a great week! The church is true! So choose the right! Ofa atu!  - Sister Johnson In a separate email, Ba...
