Light Your Community

Hey fam!
There were lots of miracles this week. Like the stake has this nativity play thingy so we have been non stop inviting people and so many people showed up! The spirit was strong and we got to meet lots of cool people!
I love this time of year and the opportunity we have to share the gospel with others! Especially during Christmas, when we celebrate the birth of our savior! It is a new week by the way, so go out and help your community! Go serve a neighbor, help everyone you see smile, and make a new friend!
Also here is a pretty rainbow cause it rained non stop the other day :)
And guess what... I had Jamba Juice for the first time on my mission! It was heavenly!
I love you all so much and this gospel is so true so chose the right!
-Sister Johnson

Short and sweet without hardly any photos this week:( But she did send this little tidbit as well...

My companion is Sister Newell and she is amazing! She if from Bountiful, Utah and is such a hard worker! I have one bad picture so don't judge. She is an amazing example to me and is an awesome companion! But we both forget to take pictures... So yeah I will try to remember. But this is the only one we have (It is on a google drive and I haven't been able to get it yet) cause I was so happy to get a Jamba Juice today... FIRST one on the mission too! Aren't you impressed I have gone this long without it? :)

One more story from this week. Bailey's Great Grandmother passed away on December 2nd and Drew, Angela, Lizzy and I, with my family went up to Canada for the funeral on December 7th. We were on our way home on Sunday, December 9th, when Angela got this photo from an elder from her mission. He was visiting his grandmother who is in Bailey's ward. Bailey was talking to the grandmother and she said her grandson just got home from his mission from Alaska. Bailey said her sister served there, so they called him over and asked if he knew a Sister Johnson from his mission. Apparently, they're friends and he sent her this picture as we were driving home. She was so happy, as was I, and said it made her day!

And...this elder is the cousin of Shad Torrie's wife (Shad is one of Angela's good childhood friends and cousin to the Torries that have been some of our best friends and Cache Valley family for the past 20 years). Bailey's comment about the meeting, ""Also... I met Shad Torrie's wife's parents! So that was cool, did they send you a picture? Her grandparents are in the ward and they were visiting. And her cousin served his mission with Angela... I think... I might be wrong but I think that was all of the connections :) so that was fun.
